She couldn’t help herself.
Her work was all done for the day- nobody was home. No chores or errands needed to be done. Food was in the fridge and her room was clean, as if she was waiting for a guest to come over. But there was no one. And there was absolutely nothing to do.
It was the perfect time to reward herself.
The seclusion of being in her house alone had been enough to make her act. Her heart buzzed alive like a motor engine- her next steps on complete autopilot. She hops out of her bed and helps set the scene- she would never settle for anything less than perfection.

Columbina is an ASMR artist, one that Sandrone listens to...a lot. Coincidentally, she has no idea that this random girl on the Internet with the voice of an angel is her classmate. A comment on one of her videos turns out to be a grave mistake, ending in a confrontation with no way out.

A whole month had passed since Columbina had moved in. And since then…things were better. Not by much, of course- it would take a lot to break her insistent unhealthy relationship with constantly working…but…better. She actually found herself feeling motivated to get up and out of bed, and that had been because Columbina was coming right with her. For one day and one day of the week alone, they had the exact same classes. She didn’t like her company- of course not- but any kind of suffering was a little more bearable when it was also happening with someone you knew.

Noelle thought about how to word her next sentence, then took a breath. “Would you like to- I-I mean…for a while I…was hoping we could..recreate…it?” She offered a smile as a familiar blush painted her cheeks, while still nervous- it was one full of hope…today had gone well- extremely well…so this wouldn’t be too much to ask, right? “As you know, I've only ridden it with Kris..and…it’d just be really nice to do it with you- like….for real this time.” She mentally chuckled at herself…well even if she completely botched that up…it was okay, right? She said it, and that was all that mattered. She knew that Susie wouldn’t judge her…and if she did- it’s not like she particularly MINDED the idea of being teased and picked on…
But Susie didn’t do anything.
Susie didn’t even laugh.
She just stood there, as if she had just said something really, really wrong.

At the day of the festival, Susie tries her best to forget about the prophecy and have fun, which goes as well as one would expect. When the end of the day approaches, Noelle and her have a long talk on top of a ferris wheel.

Summary
Columbina sees her for the first time at a gallery on a Tuesday. She is scowling at a painting and Columbina forgets what she came for.
That is the beginning of everything.
Years later they are married, expecting a daughter, and life is cookie dough at six in the morning and a nursery mural with a tiny hidden door painted in it for their baby to find someday. It is a painter who pretends she does not need anyone and a pianist who has known from the start that this is not true. It is a father who drives forty minutes for the right pastry. It is a baby named Aurélie who arrives and makes the whole world larger.
Sandrone loves the way she does everything, completely and without making a fuss about it. Columbina has been paying attention since that first Tuesday and she does not plan to stop.
In short, a family fic.

SPECIAL CUSTOMER APPRECIATION EVENT stretched across the front window of Celestia Maid & Tea in glittering pink letters, complete with hearts and stars that seemed to mock her already nervous stomach.
Below it, in smaller but equally devastating print: “Highest spending customer wins an exclusive photo session with the maid of their choice!”
Or: Jahoda is definitely going to win that session with Ineffa! Her wallet is never going to financially recover from this…

After the battle with Dottore, Columbina is left to grieve the loss of her beloved Sandrone.
Until one day…
Sandrone returns, alive but without her memories, her core unstable and fragile. The only thing left etched deep within her is one name, Columbina.
To keep her alive, simple treatment is not enough. Sandrone’s core responds only to Kuuvahki, Columbina’s power, which requires closeness, skin against skin, breath against breath, energy flowing from one to the other.
But the thinner the line between healing and longing becomes, the more Columbina fears what will remain when the energy transfer is over.
No matter how much Sandrone has changed, or even if she never remembers, Columbina will stay.
She will be her home.
