Summary
The Enterprise crew beam down to an uncharted planet whose local population has been annihilated in the wake of a civil war. The only life form they find is a lone android, who, to their shock, is an identical replica of Spock. In an effort to find out how and why this android was created, they beam it aboard the ship to study it. As the crew work tirelessly to solve the mystery in their fold and progressively learn more, McCoy finds himself dealing with strange new emotions. Eventually, he comes to a startling realisation: He’s slowly developing feelings for Spock. There’s just one itty-bitty problem - he’s falling for the wrong one.
