After the prank sirius loses himself and James and remus are too blinded by anger to see it .while Remus on the other hand is also struggling himself he notices his friend falling apart .what happens when James and Remus realize that sirius fell back to his old habits. And when summer comes and serius escapes his house after a beating that brought him close to death.

Sirius was hurt, but he still wanted to fix things for Remus. He understood why he couldn’t be a part of the resolution himself, but he could still help. He would make Remus forget he ever existed, that way Remus would be happy again.
It was easy, Sirius made his plan in the span of an hour. He just needed to avoid being in the places Remus enjoyed, sit at the back to avoid making him uncomfortable in classes, avoid mealtimes, and get him to make new friends. Maybe even a new boyfriend.
