    Honestly, the stress of being hero students (in their class, in the war, in the terrible, stressful, traumatic situations they just kept getting into) was just too much. Hence, Izuku and Katsuki’s puberty stages were essentially ignored throughout school.

    Then they’re eighteen and nineteen respectively, graduated, working, settled down in a shared apartment. And Izuku is sent home to undergo his required, long overdue heat.

    Cue two idiots FINALLY clueing in that they're mates.

    Izuku is eventually devastated and decides to avoid the alpha.

    In the midst of all this chaos a quirk accident leads to Fantasy! Katsuki being transported to this universe. Turns out the Izuku of that universe died protecting their pup.

    When Fantasy! Katsuki makes an entising offer to take Izuku back to their universe where they have their pup and Izuku's mom is still alive - Izuku is at crossroads as to what to choose.
