After Weiss' horrendous first year at Beacon, she was excited to kick off a more traditional semester at Beacon, one where she didn't have to battle White Fang extremists, or stave off one of the largest Grimm invasions in Vale's history. Even if after the dust all settled, her biggest crush transformed into her girlfriend overnight (and Weiss developed two other crushes she was NOT going to pursue), both her teammates and her friends on team JNPR had suffered far too much their previous semester.
With both the city of Vale finishing up reconstruction, and public opinion souring enough against her father for Atlas to FINALLY start handing him his ass in court, Weiss thought her second year as a Huntress-in-training was finally looking up...
Up until the moment she started puking honey everywhere, and she learned that Blake was not the only SURPRISE faunus on team RWBY.

Summary
Maria lost her company, her house, her father, and now, her girlfriend. To be fair, her now ex-girlfriend is the one who robbed her of most of those things. Now all Maria had to her name was the clothes on her back and her favorite car. She took off in an aimless direction hoping to start anew somewhere in this world. She had no idea that somewhere would be a rundown mansion on some tiny island outside of Vale. Run by a curious red and white-themed couple who had aspirations of turning the old building into a hotel. She couldn't complain, at least they were cute.
Now if only they didn't also have nine adopted kids.

Summary
Weiss wouldn't say that her live was going exactly to plan, being stuck at a job that annoyed her to no end with barely any friends outside of work, and a lot of bad memories of how she used to be to fill in the quiet moments.
Still, she tried to persevere.
Through a turn of events, she finds herself at a Maid Café one day, and finds a new source of relaxation, and perhaps some personal redemption when faced with some mistakes of the past.
