“What is ‘Keith’?” Kolivan asked one evening.
Keith looked up, blinking in confusion. “I’m Keith.”
“Yes, but what is ‘Keith’?” Kolivan pressed.
“Well, as far as I know, mostly human, and some Galra.” He really thought Kolivan already knew this. He had been there when Keith’s knife changed form, indicating that he had Galra blood. How much, none of them knew.
Kolivan huffed, looking impatient. “The word. ‘Keith’. What does it mean, in your language?”
(The Blades get curious about the name of their smallest member. Pidge does some hacking to find out the surprising answer)

“The bard is an avian?” He asked, hoping he had misheard her even as he now tried his best to see past the crowd to catch a glimpse of the musician.
“He sure is. I must say, I was very surprised myself. Before today I could’ve counted on one hand how many birdfolk I had ever met,” Shay said with a chuckle. At this point, Keith could not even pretend to be listening, since one of the patrons had finally moved out of the way, and allowed Keith a direct line of sight to the blue-eyed avian currently leading the audience through yet another jovial song.
The reason why Keith could be so sure of the other’s eye color was because the man was currently staring right at Keith with a gobsmacked expression Keith was sure matched his own.

“Why are you following me?” Cas growled as he breathed in harshly, his eyes narrowed. He pinned the man's hands up above his head, holding him still as he pushed his hips down.
The man was staring at him wide eyed, his face flushed red. “I…I wasn't…” The man stuttered.
Cas glared at him as he observed him. The man wasn't fighting back, his arms slack as Cas gripped them tightly, his legs splayed open underneath him.
“I’ve noticed you've been following me.” Cas said.
