The TARDIS had been uncharacteristically overt in her displays of concern... She seemed to think she ought to keep cheering him up. This was at least the sixth time in as many weeks that she’d landed in the midst of Christmas celebrations on some planet, as if he still enjoyed that sort of thing. Well, if that overgrown child wasn’t dead, he was at least having a bit of a coma. Which sounded pretty attractive, actually.
There was a knock at the door. If it was more carol singers who couldn’t read, they deserved what they got.

In which Astrid, now heir to the Chiefdom, convinces Stoick to ask the mysterious Dragon Master for help.
Hiccup obliges. It's his fight, after all.
However, he may have forgotten to anticipate how hard it would be to prepare for war alongside his old friends and family without letting them know it was him. But then again, what other choice does he have?
Toothless is finding the whole situation highly amusing.

A year has passed since Dream has recovered his tools of office and recovered himself from almost being remade... into Dread of the Endless - thanks in large part to Johanna, Hob, and his sister Death... he refuses, even now, to acknowledge Desire's aid in any of it given their fault in it all.
However, things are far from okay. Dread remains ever present, Lucifer is far from accepting their humiliation, and there is once again plans being made to try and destroy the Endless.
All too soon, Johanna and Hob find themselves at the center of it all - with some allies (sometimes unwanted)… doing what they can to try and limit the damage and fallout. Of course, made all the worse, by having to also care for a suddenly very human Dream...

How To Train Your Dragon AU: Valka and Hiccup were both taken the night of the raid. Hiccup is raised in a dragon nest alongside Toothless. Epic adventure and friendship ensue.
"The little dragon crooned softly, pupils dilating as he nuzzled against Hiccup's cheek. My son giggled, reaching his arms up over his head as he attempted to pet the Night Fury. I simply sat back and stared in amazement at their interaction. The hatchling took one of Hiccup's arms in his mouth, chewing softly. I gasped, jumping forward to push him away, only to notice that the dragon had no teeth. "What the...toothless?" I murmured in confusion. I could've sworn the other baby dragon had teeth. This one tilted his head, glancing up at me with an expression that read, 'you seriously thought I was gonna bite him?' I relaxed with a chuckle, letting him do as he pleased. If anything, Hiccup was enjoying the hatchling's attention, and kicked his legs happily. "Well, Toothless, meet my son, Hiccup," I introduced with a grin."
