Summary
Steven decides to go to high school. The Homeworld threat is neutralized. The Diamonds are actually acknowledging that he's not his mom. The gems have reluctantly admitted that he needs more human interaction outside his little bubble (pun intended). What better time to actually experience what it's like to be a normal teenager? He follows Connie to a bigger school the next city over, where people don't know his gem identity. He tries to keep it that way so people don't treat him any differently, and also so he feels like one of the cool super heroes with a secret identity in his comics. However, keeping this secret proves difficult as Steven is kind of a weird kid. Saving the world is one thing, but how will Steven memorize Mitochondria facts while also standing up to bullies without summoning his shield?
