Summary
All the people in Sumeru have secondary gender such as Alpha, Omega, and Beta, but almost of the people doesn't really concern about it since there is a technology that erase the pheromone scent. So, they can live together peacefully without being affected by it. Even some of people will forgot about this, and just living ordinary.
Al Haitham is one of the Scribe in Akademiya, he being known for his cleverness, also cold personality. He live together with Kaveh, an architect that famous after design the Palace of Alcazarzaray. They have complicated relation, and different in all aspect such as family background, personality, even the secondary gender. Alhaitham come for rich family when Kaveh just a social climber. Alhaitham have a cold and straight-forward personality (which made almost of the people doesn't like him), while Kaveh is so cheerful and friendly. Alhaitham is an Alpha, and Kaveh is an Omega.
This relationship become more complicated because one day the accidentally sleep together, and Kaveh being pregnant.
