Summary
Gem shouts, a wordless angry noise, and strikes at the unprotected chest of the closest player. He can’t watch beyond that, spinning to meet the second and catching another blow that could have met Gem’s unprotected back. His shield splinters at the edge from the next, and then Gem is there. Her leading ax-strike nearly takes off her opponent’s arm, the following sword neatly severs head from neck.
It's not ideal, but he'll do whatever he can to get them back to the Hermits. Even if that means pushing through the sacrifice he's already made, and taking advantage of the one he is supposed to protect.
Even if that means confronting his own vulnerability afterwards, and sharing it with her.Series

Summary
The Hermitcraft has been a dream posting. A full crew, lots of friendly suits, and best of all, no Imposter infiltrations- actual or imagined. (They’re no Skeld - Joe keeps a tighter ship than that.) Xisuma’s been thinking of putting in for a permanent assignment aboard, if he can talk himself into asking for it. He’s even thinking about who he might like to remove his suit with, if the opportunity comes up.

Each one stands alone, at different places in the timeline, and all focused on the A++ derpage of Xisuma as he struggles with re-finding his place after mistakes are made and friendships are tested. Full of Xisuma whump and angst, and mostly with happy or hopeful endings.These stories are better understood if you've read the original series, which I highly, highly recommend. mayflowers handles sensitive topics with care and grace, and the Hermits are there for each other with stacks and shulker boxes of love and support.

Keralis is so gentle with him it hurts. Makes him feel like he’s made of porcelain, and the blatant recognition of supposed fragility and beauty never fail to make his mind fog like condensation on glass.
Once the aching pang of sleep has mellowed beneath cottony affection stuffing him with ethereal fuzziness, Xisuma is half nuzzling into Papa K's palm, a groaning purr of a noise dancing up his throat as he looks at him through sleepy, half lidded eyes.
"Ready for bed?"
Xisuma nods - well more like drowsily bobs his head.
"Hey, just so you know, I'm using you tonight."

Summary
Xisuma is fine to continue to exist within the suit. It is comfortable enough, and even on the days when it is not - some errant glitch or malfunction - it is fine, who is he to complain when it lets him enjoy the company of those he has grown close to. But over the years, Xisuma finds the yearning nesting in his chest, to reach out and touch someone's hand with out the padded under suit or armour in the way, for someone to touch his face or rub his back after a long day and actually feel it: not just imagine it through the layers of metal.
Simple, human, comforts the suit restricts him from.

Blackmail would be simple enough, but this--as with all things involving the Jedi--has something much bigger behind it. Trouble might be Obi-Wan's business, but this is a little above his pay grade.

Summary
After dying on the Death Star, Obi-Wan Kenobi expects to; well, die. Instead, he wakes up in the initiate dorms at the Coruscant Temple. The Force has sent him back in time, given him a second chance, and he knows what he needs to do. At twelve years old, his life is at a crossroads. Does he apprentice to Qui-Gon Jinn or does he join the AgriCorps. He knows the fate of the galaxy if he chooses the former and so he dedicates himself to the latter.
Only, the Force works in mysterious ways. When a third option is presented, becoming Yan Dooku's Padawan, Obi-Wan has to make a decision.
