He reopened his fisted hands, trying to let the tension slip away, and finally took a deep breath.
The whistling that had made him deaf until that moment slowly faded away, allowing Akaza to hear the silence of the house broken by a new, sudden and unexpected noise.
Akaza stiffened and his gaze immediately turned towards the fusuma that served as a closet in the room, and from which muffled cries were now audible.
He approached the sliding door and carefully opened it. A small pile of sheets moved under his gaze - now more curious than angry as a few moments before -, and finally a loud cry began to fill the room.

Pre season 2 of Hazbin Hotel!!
Abel isn't stupid, really, he isn't. He promises that. After all, to be a one of the divine judges you had to be smart. You had to make quick decisions based on every single detail given and be RIGHT because there was no time for any mistakes. And now with him being chosen as the new head of the exorcists? Well… Clearly Abel wasn’t a moron.
That being said, when Lucifer and Charlie arrive in Heaven to talk about redemption, Sir Pentious and Adam's death and Abel is just a minute or two late to the meeting?

I saw a comic in which Abel called Lucifer mom and now I wrote a whole fic about it.
I don't remember who's comic it was so if anyone knows, let me know so I can credit them for the idea!

“Can I ask you something?” Mic asks, slowly looking away from the sky as the cloud passes and the sun’s rays shine on them again.
“Of course.”
“Why do you want to be a hero, Kaminari?” Mic’s voice is gentle, as if he’s afraid to break whatever somber mood has settled over them as well.
Kaminari looks down, into the sea of people walking so far below them. Kaminari can’t hear them, can barely make out their faces, even. But, he can imagine what they’re doing. Adults walking to and from work, or the store running errands. Some laden with bags, others with briefcases. Teenagers and kids walking home from school, stopping at corner stores and arcades to hang out longer with their friends. Families walking downtown, children in the middle, clutching their parent’s hands and laughing in joy. Everyone living their lives, in their own bubbles, going about their day. Kaminari can feel himself smiling as he observes them.
Or, Kaminari interns with Present Mic. It goes better than Kaminari could have ever hoped.
