The bond was closed, door nailed shut and then bricked up. What protected Gaz was his lack of knowledge. Any crack was a risk, was leverage to be used.
Instincts rattled against the bars of his mind. Gaz curled tighter, clutched at the wrists in front of him. He deeply inhaled his alphas scent, trying to find the warm smoke. Was looking for it underneath the sour scent of fear and sweetly rotten overtones of injury and sickness that were all around them. -
