Summary
It’s the meeting in Rivendell where all the races have come to decide the fate of the Ring. Dean wishes to sit next to his father in the discussions, as he sees himself as still a soldier and can help in the destruction of the Ring. But Elrond sees him as his youngest son and doesn’t wish this fate upon him. Dean sees this differently.

Summary
Vigilante justice was fun, most of the time, Percy had decided. He liked helping people and it gave him a purpose and a place to channel all of his anger at the world. Even better, he knew his mom would be proud of him, probably worried and praying to the goddess of justice, but still glad he was saving lives.
[Percy definitely didn’t feel any type of way about his mom’s untimely demise, not at all. He was dealing with it accordingly by beating up the scum of Gotham’s underbelly—and by scum he definitely meant abusers not the poor people living in Crime Alley.]

The Bat claimed he wasn’t keen on letting teenagers run across rooftops in brightly colored spandex (Percy gestured over to Jason across the cave, still sat in his ridiculous boots and black mask, who was grinning and waving) but Percy was bored as Hades surely was during summer, sitting in cave every night. He was an ADHD riddled teen demigod who definitely wanted to flip over roofs and stop crime.

Summary
Too quickly was there a gloved hand around the string of his backpack, Batman tumbling into the harbor with him. Percy went to breathe, but immediately started coughing, the pollution of the waters weakening him as quickly as it strengthened him.
The vigilante hauled Percy out of the water, watching as the demigod fell flat on his back, breathing heavily. Batman was scowling down at him, water dripping from his cowl, his frown more pronounced than it was before Percy’s stunt. “Are you finished yet?”
“Well that was just embarrassing,” Percy muttered, reluctantly pushing himself to his knees. “Go on a week-long quest and win in a duel against my crazy cousin only to be immediately defeated by Batman.”

Summary
15 Feb '26 Update: Hope for the Future is complete. SoN is underway but slow going. While I will be posting chapter by chapter, I will not begin posting until I have it written through to the final fight. It's currently predicted to be well over 200k with at least 21 chapters. And even trying to rein it in, my chapters are always 10-15k. So please do not expect to have anything before March/April at the earliest. HoO is a lot heavier to write and motivation more difficult to find. I'll get there, it'll just take a bit longer. (And you would not believe the amount of actual academic research that has gone into SoN, it's an absolute monster, and will hopefully be worth the wait!)
___This is a continuation of the Percy, the Weirdest Prophet Apollo Has Ever Met Series. This series is for the Heroes of Olympus Arc.
The Weight of Expectations = A Prequel to the HoO Arc covering Jason, Reyna and Octavian up to the Battle of Manhattan, setting the stage for the Heroes of Olympus storyline.
Hope for the Future = The Lost Hero.
