Earth barely managed to avoid its own annihilation thanks to the last second assistance of new alien visitors. Slowly, civilizations that had been nearly destroyed through nuclear warfare, famine, and disease are rebuilt with the Autobots' help.
But the Autobots' assistance isn't entirely altruistic. Earth has something they want. Because mixed with the millions of others are humans with spark signatures and the potential to become sparklings. And the Autobots who had believed they were doomed to a slow extinction, have no intention of letting their new little ones go.

Twenty years later, Queen Barb announces her world tour, but it was a way to get all of the strings to make every troll live under Rock. Floyd wasn't a fan of the plan, so he snuck away to warn the other tribes of Barb's plan. And during his stay in one of the tribes, he sees someone he never thought he would see again, his brother Branch.

He makes it clear he wants nothing to do with whatever the hell they’re doing, but Sonic tries to convince him to “get in” on the fun anyways. Shadow makes a counter offer, if it means that he’ll be left alone about the subject of arrangements and the doctor. The offer is for the two of them to meet up every week to race or spar, and of course Sonic agrees. Because that means he gets to see his favorite rival more. Maybe they spar more than race, maybe it’s because they like pinning each other to the ground. They’ll never tell, cause they won’t admit it to themselves !! At least not yet !!!
