Summary
Mirabel bends air, water, earth, and fire under Dolores’ eyes, using her bisabuelo's old scrolls to channel her gift. Fearing Abuela will exploit her gifts, she pretends she is as ordinary as they come.
However, she gets a huge surprise: a boy named Aang who claims he’s the Avatar, a being who can bend the same elements, and Water Tribe siblings Katara, a waterbender, and Sokka, an ordinary warrior. When an argument with Isabela reveals her gift, she realizes she’s been chosen to help Avatar Aang defeat Fire Lord Ozai. Finally finding an adventure to call her own, she takes the call and joins the team, with a reluctant and remorseful Isabela following for Mirabel’s protection at the request of their worried Abuela.
However, the Gaang has far more powerful enemies. As Mirabel learns to use her powers, secrets about her own lineage draw unwanted attention from a banished Fire Nation prince and esteemed Fire Nation admiral, and worse, potential attention from Fire Lord Ozai…

Summary
Nothing made sense around Mirabel, not since she was five years old. Although Alma doubted that Mirabel did anything to deserve losing a gift, she couldn’t help but notice how different she was from the family. In a family of extraordinary people, she was normal, out of place, the odd one out.
But, in the past few years, she’d started scampering off with Dolores for extended periods of time. Yukio’s things were moved out of the attic and hidden in Dolores’ room. Water fell out of standing glasses, gusts of air surrounded her when she was angry or fearful, and sometimes the ground moved under her feet while she ran to and fro. And now, her blankets were scorched every time she did laundry, even though there were no matches in the nursery and Mirabel knew better than to play with those.
Alma wasn’t sure what was going on with her youngest nieta, but she certainly didn’t like the theories coming to mind. The last thing she wanted was for her to be a bender.Especially a firebender.

Five times Alma missed signs of Mirabel’s bending, and one time where she got confirmation about it.
Takes place over two years before "Elemental Caterpillar" and up to “The Bitter Truth.”

Summary
Dolores kept two secrets.
The first was Bruno’s location. She knew he didn’t actually leave the Encanto; merely, he hid in the walls from Abuela. Of course, the rule about Bruno made it easy to keep that secret. Just one whisper of his name would send Mamá into a spiral, and the last thing anyone wanted was to create a storm.
The second secret was that Mirabel could bend all four elements.
Dodging Abuela’s questions was easy, playing it off as her taking care of her primita and ensuring she didn’t get in trouble. She seemed to accept her reasoning that Dolores was trying to keep Mirabel out of danger.
Making sure Mirabel didn’t reveal it was a lot harder. As much as she loved her primita, the last thing she could do was keep her bending secret.
She just hoped it came out in a peaceful setting rather than a chaotic one.
But rarely did anything come out in the Madrigal family in a peaceful setting.OR
Dolores is told of Mirabel’s bending through a dream, and she spends years training Mirabel.
Takes place over five years before Elemental Caterpillar up to “The Bitter Truth.”

Summary
During the time when Mirabel was supposed to have her 15th, was the day of Antonio's gifting ceremony, but instead all focus was on Antonio making Mirabel feel depressed and hurt that her family had once again forgotten her and pushed her to the back. So, during the ceremony, instead of Mirabel attending the event she stayed in her room avoiding everyone. Antonio had just touched the doorknob to his door when a light shone so bright that everyone had to shield their faces. The light traveled all around until it reached the nursery engulfing the whole nursery and Mirabel. After the light died down Mirabel fell asleep, as the rest of the house celebrated with joy as Antonio received his gift.

She couldn't see the walls of Casita shining, but feels the floor moving under his feet.Open her eyes, looking with affection the tiles down her "I'm fine Casita, don't need to worry..." Mirabel get out of word, thinking maybe she hit her head with something and now she is seeing things.
Because that is a door.
