In the end, nobody could face Vide’s wrath, and every one of the travellers fell in the final fight- all of them except for Temenos, who was stolen away by Vide and cursed with immortality.
Now, ninety years later, Solistia has become the domain of the Wicked God. No longer is Aelfric spoken of, the Flamebringer’s name little more than a curse.
