His eyes snapped open.
No, he wasn’t going to listen to that thought, nor entertain it. He was not pregnant. Velvette was just so goddamn funny for joking about that, hahaha.
... It was about one in the afternoon, past when his lunch break would’ve been. His stomach rumbled remembering that, but he ignored it, because he didn’t want to vomit again.
He assumed running to the pharmacy would take an hour tops with how sick he was…
Vox sighed. He was going to have to entertain this.

After the events of Vox’s public humiliation, the Vees are struggling to make things make sense again. They each need to grapple with the fact that Vox tried to kill them all. Valentino is torn by feeling anger and feeling sad for Vox. Velvette is just over it all completely. And Vox is a shell of the man he once thought he was.
