The last straw comes when Jihoon pushes open his bedroom door one day to find Hyunsuk sprawled leisurely on his bed, wearing nothing but Jihoon's ratty, faded b-boy sweatshirt and looking like he belongs there. It fits Jihoon perfectly and looks like a potato sack on him, but on Hyunsuk it swallows his waiflike frame, hanging to cover the top of his thighs and somehow makes him look like a million adorable bucks. Jihoon opens his mouth, heart pounding wildly but the reproachful words dry up on his tongue when Hyunsuk looks up and smiles innocently. “Oh, you’re back. Welcome home.”
Jihoon buries his nose in his pillow that night, inhaling the remnants of Hyunsuk’s musky scent and jerks himself off in the dark, sick with shame and guilt. He shoves the sweatshirt in the back of his closet and tries to forget the way Hyunsuk tugged the sleeves over his wrists and covered his mouth as he laughed, eyes crinkling.
In his third year of high school, Jihoon joins a band and falls in love with his best friend.

Hyunsuk bit his lip as he shyly watched his boyfriend undress carelessly, shooting a possessive glance around although there was no one else in the vicinity. Jihoon nearly ripped off a button by accident when he caught Hyunsuk biting his lip, and immediately tossed his shirt aside onto the grass and grabbed Hyunsuk into a meaningful, deep kiss.
Jihoon almost pushed Hyunsuk down onto the grass, tackling him off balance, but Hyunsuk resisted, breaking off and holding him at arm's length with his hands on Jihoon's shoulders.
"Wait," Hyunsuk gasped breathlessly, feeling disheveled and over-kissed. "Let me see your tattoo first."
