Summary
Buck doesn’t sleep much. It’s not because he has nightmares. It’s the opposite actually. When he sleeps he doesn’t see the blood dripping from Bobby’s nose or feel his raw throat coated in snot and screams. No, in fact, when he sleeps everything is perfectly fine. In his dreams, Bobby is teaching Buck cooking secrets, leading the team in saving lives, and guiding Buck through his mistakes. Buck doesn’t sleep because when he finally wakes he realizes he’s living the nightmare.
