Summary
Three days after Suguru visits the Jujutsu High campus to declare war, Satoru pays him a visit in return. It’s been 10 years since they last saw each other, and Suguru has no idea what Satoru could possibly want. Suguru’s Night Parade of a Hundred Demons will simply be Suguru going through with what he said he’d do that day on the sidewalk in Shinjuku. He’s going to give his all to make his dream of eliminating non-sorcerers, of ending the cycle of curse creation and exorcism, come true.
But what if Satoru has a dream of his own? Seeing Suguru again may just be what he needs to give him the strength to fight for it. To make Suguru question all of his carefully laid plans. Because Suguru never forgot his first dream. His dream of Satoru.

The cobblestone is carmine-slick, and water turns to wine in the throes of twilight. Suguru’s hair is plastered to his forehead, trickling around his face like jet-black river water. His face is caked with dried blood. Still he grins up at Satoru with both rows of teeth. A new challenge and an old promise, met with a sleight of Satoru’s hand. What happens next is almost gentle compared to the miles of scorched earth around them. Suguru draws in half a breath and goes still, just like that, all traces of personhood slipping away, leaving a mere object slumped against concrete. He becomes it, an emptied corpse, and its face or what remains of it smoothes into serenity it had never known in life,
