Summary
Hood spit at his feet, rising up on shaky arms. Robin rolled his eyes, going to kick him again, but Hood’s arm shot out, grabbing onto his ankle and yanking him down. Robin yelped, his elbow hitting the concrete hard as he went down. Before he knew it, Hood was standing over him, gun trained on his face. He smirked, turning the safety off.
“Stay down, Robin,” he taunted in sing-song. “I’ll tell Batman you put up a good fight.”

Summary
Tim's birthday ends up being the first good one in a long time, no thanks to the rest of the family. Though he can't seem to make himself mind, not since his older brother decides that Tim is, in fact, worth the effort and does everything in his power to make his 18th birthday a week to remember. Tim didn't ask for this. He doesn't think he even could get something like this, but Jason's not one to half-ass anything, even birthday celebrations, apparently.
Featuring: "childish" use of a shopping cart; the beginnings of Jason's troubled teenager magnetism; pop culture references; Tim's inner fanboy; unhinged, unsupervised middle-son energy; "accidents" at a skate park; video games; and the suspicious, usually buried differences between normal, grumpy Jason and calm, comfortable Jason...not necessarily in that order.
OR
When the rest of the Batfamily forgets Tim's birthday, Jason steps up to give his little brother not only the best birthday ever, but also give him an entire week of celebrations. Sucks to suck, Dick. There's a new favorite big brother in town.
Go read the first part of this series to better understand this one, unless you're fine with being a bit confused.

Summary
“You guys are disgustingly cute,” Tim says, scrunching up his nose. “How did you manage to tame the big bad Red Hood, Dick?”
“If he told you, he’d have to kill you,” Jason says nonchalantly before Dick has a chance to open his mouth, he wraps an arm around Dick’s waist and pulls him in closer. “Quiet. Eat your food and drink your stolen beer, replacements should be seen and not heard.”
Dick makes a move to chastise Jason for his replacement comment but instead of being annoyed, Tim just shakes his head, a smile curving on his lips as he flips Jason the finger and turns back to eating his noodles. The exchange warms Dick’s heart a little, this is progress.
