Summary
Keith, freshly kicked from the team by Allura because of his Galra heritage, joined the Blade of Marmora to continue fighting Zarkon even if he was no longer a paladin. Unfortunately, Keith was put on a mission to provide protection to Voltron. Even after being away from them for a year, he still misses them greatly, and even though he is pretty sure he doesn’t want them to recognize him, he still wishes they would.

Bruce knocked his fist against the wooden door, his cowl casting a dramatic shadow across the front step. Behind him, all in various stages of injury, stood the entire Justice League, watching the small cabin with curious glances. An awkward silence surrounded them, until Hal finally spoke up, his voice more than slightly nervous. “Are you sure about this, Batman?” To his everlasting credit, Bruce only hesitated for a second before grunting back a “Yes. These are allies.” The door swung open, revealing an older-looking teen with guns strapped to his thighs. The league froze. This, whatever this was, was not what they had expected when Batman himself led them to a safe-house in the middle of nowhere. The teen sighed, glaring at them.
“What the hell, Dad?”

Summary
Following Shiro's disappearance from the black lion and Keith's subsequent selection as the new black paladin, Keith's life just got a whole lot more stressful. He needs to learn how to be a leader and how to be someone worthy of Shiro's legacy. His desire to be really good friends with Lance is out of a desire for friendship. (Friends can hold hands and admire how pretty their friend's eyes are, right?) So when he starts coughing up petals, he realizes he'll need to come to terms with feelings he thought he left buried back in the desert. Will he crack under the pressure or become a diamond in the rough?
