When it comes to him, she thinks she’s as malleable as a bowl of dough. It itches at her sometimes. Lucy wonders if she’s this obvious to everyone else. If they can tell from the way she moves around him, like he’s the sun and his gravitational force is pulling her in, has always been pulling her in, and how when he looks back, she’ll be behind him looking forward, always a step or two behind him in pursuit, if not at his side, and that when she imagines her future, it’s always with him in it, by her side, and the name that’s come out of her mouth the most since the day she became a fairy tail member—the name that she’s screamed and sobbed, that she’s said with both anger and excitement, with joy and sorrow, with horror, even, but most of all with the knowledge that he’ll say her name right back equal in measure—is his name.
Lucy wonders if her feelings are this obvious to everyone except Natsu.
