As Tommy rappels down, Buck hands off the rope to Eddie and steps closer with the intention of steadying him when he reaches the ground, but then Tommy stops about two-thirds of the way down and looks back at him.
“Can I fulfill a two decade old fantasy real quick?” he asks.
Buck squints suspiciously. “Here?”
Tommy grins. “Yes.”
"I'm not being charged as an accessory to public indecency," Eddie says, and Buck elbows him.

“Do you and Karen have a lot of the same hobbies?” he asks.
“Sort of,” she replies, shrugging. “We do a lot together, but the kids take up a lot of our time these days. Not really much room for hobbies outside theirs. That’s a double-income-no-kids privilege. Why?”

Buck scoots closer, still sitting sideways on the couch, but now his knee is pressed to Tommy’s thigh. “What did he say? Was it—”
“Nothing bad,” Tommy reassures him, closing his eyes and digging his palms into them with a laugh. “He, uh, he said that it’s lucky you can’t get pregnant, because the way I was looking at you, I would’ve put a baby in you already.”

“You know, I never saw these,” Buck says, trying to sound light.
“You've been missing out,” Tommy says, blinking and turning a little in his seat so he's facing Buck more directly. “How—”
“I didn't know you'd be here,” Buck admits. “Is it okay?”
Tommy nods slowly, sliding his phone into his pocket. “Yeah, of course. How've you been?”
Buck winces and throws a couple of kernals of popcorn into his mouth. “Okay, I guess? Actually not. I don't know, it's—I’m fine.”
“Uh-huh,” Tommy says slowly, clearly not believing him. “Why don't you get back to me about that in a few hours?”
“Okay,” Buck says, holding the popcorn bucket toward him. “We can share.”
“Okay,” Tommy agrees, grabbing a couple pieces.
