    Mulder makes sure to give some space to Scully after she gets attacked by Ed even though he wants to keep her close. However, because misunderstandings make for a more satisfying reconciliation, you will forgive me for making them exceptionally dense and oblivious to each other's desires. What is MSR after all, but two characters who cannot communicate unless one of them is literally dying? Scully needs him to know how frustrating his behaviour has been, which is hard because his presence is terribly distracting. Will they kiss and makeup?
