Summary
Seungmin chose journalism because it doesn’t require him to talk on command.
Radio, unfortunately, does.
Forced into a practicum at a campus station, Seungmin prepares for the worst — especially when he’s assigned to work under Lee Minho, the host of After Hours, whose confidence borders on arrogance and whose voice is far too dangerous for Seungmin’s peace of mind.(Or: Seungmin never chose radio. He also didn’t choose to get attracted to Lee Minho. But here they are. In a recording booth with too little space. And Minho’s voice doing very complicated things to Seungmin. What could possibly go wrong?)

Summary
Minho's dorm is right next to the door of athlete Seungmin. They wake up at the same time, often bumping into each other in the hall. It wouldn't be a problem to live with someone if they weren't over each other's throats all the time.
Even their friends accepted it might not have a solution to their relationship, and that's taken as indisputable truth — or at least, until Minho puts his hatred to test after getting to know new sides of Seungmin. Was it really hatred after all?

Summary
Seungmin winced at the sudden pressure, more startled than hurt, heart thudding as Minho’s gaze bore into him.
“Hyung, I said I’m sorry. I didn’t think it would get that late. We were working on the project and then we just—”
“You just what?” Minho snapped. “Lost track of time? Forgot you live with someone? Forgot someone would worry?”
“I didn’t forget you!” Seungmin shot back, breaking away from his grip. “Why are you acting like I cheated on you or something?!”
Minho laughed again, but there was no humor in it. “Because it feels like that, Seungmin.”
— OR.
Minho lives two lives: a finance executive by day and something far more dangerous by night. For two years, he's kept his boyfriend Seungmin safely tucked away from that world, believing love and violence can stay separate, because Seungmin cannot — must not, ever find out the truth.

“Getting a little emotional about the ugly bread.”
“What?” Hyunjin asks, baffled. He knows Seungmin is eccentric, but that came out of nowhere, even for him.
“The café across our academy,” Seungmin huffs, weirdly upset, “they have an ugly bread section. Can you believe that?”
Hyunjin blinks.
“How can they just call it ugly bread and slap a discount on it like that?” Seungmin sighs. “That’s emotional coercion. I walked in for coffee, and now I’m morally obligated to adopt discounted bread with self-esteem issues. I feel personally responsible for its happiness.”

Summary
The path along the Han River had thinned into quiet, the city’s hum fading into the distance as they walked side by side, their steps slow, unhurried, like neither of them wanted the night to end. The streetlights cast long golden shadows across the pavement, and the river glimmered faintly beside them, catching the light like silk. The glow from the lamps and the thousand windows behind them made the world feel softly lit, like a stage waiting for its final scene.
Minho had fallen behind, just slightly, distracted by the way Seungmin moved—loose now, relaxed, his hands tucked into his pockets, Minho’s faded shirt hanging off his frame like it had always belonged there. Minho felt his heart stutter in his chest. He didn’t know what he was waiting for. He didn’t know what he was afraid of.
Seungmin stopped beneath a streetlight, the quiet kind that buzzed faintly with age, surrounded by a halo of flying insects that danced like confetti in the warm air. He turned, looked down at Minho with a softness that didn’t belong to teasing, and said, voice low, almost shy, “Would you kiss me under a streetlight… or do you want a full moon, hyung ?”

Summary
Minho cocked his head, seeing right through him. “So you’re worried that I’m going to end up lonely, when you don’t even know if you’ll end up with someone yourself?”
Seungmin sulked. “Someone would have me,” he pouted. “Probably.”
Minho cracked a smile at him. “They would,” he agreed.
Seungmin felt himself grin back, before another thought entered his head. “You’re okay with me looking for someone too, right hyung? It won’t be weird for you or anything?”
Seungmin never really wondered what Minho would feel about him dating. After all, half the time Minho only grudgingly admitted to others that they were platonic soulmates as it was. There’s no way he cared about Seungmin’s love life, or lack of one.
Minho just hummed at him. “You can do whatever you want to do Minnie,” he answered evasively, which wasn’t really an answer at all.
Seungmin thinks he and Minho are platonic soulmates.
He might be wrong about that.

“I literally asked you to the graduation party,” Minho says. “Isn’t that, like, as close as you can get to asking someone out without actually saying the words?”
Record scratch. Rewind. Seungmin gapes so hard he’s sure Minho can see all the way down his throat to his intestines. “Wait. That wasn’t a joke?”
“No?” Minho looks at him incredulously. “Why would that be a joke?”
“Because you…” Seungmin gestures wildly, letting out a slightly unhinged laugh. “You asked me on the last day of class with a muddy dandelion from the courtyard! And we spent three years at each other’s throats! What was I supposed to think?”
Kim Seungmin is a professional adult. He is mature, he has a degree, and he's starting a new job at a prestigious consulting firm.
Cue him coming face to face with Lee Minho, his personal high school migraine, for the first time in six years. Summary

Kim Seungmin, the prince of the Northern Empire, was the royal omega born with the Ice Phoenix’s essence, sealing him into the shared fate with Minho. "Perhaps knocking you down a few pegs will loosen your lips. I think a few rounds with one of my men should do the trick-"
Minho cackled. "You think a single one of your dogs can best me in a fight? Jaehyul, you're losing your touch."
"I never said anything about fighting."
Minho's smile froze on his face.
"Oh, is that right?" Minho forced out, teeth bared. "And who, might I ask, is the lucky soul? Sure he can handle me?"
Jaehyul extended his arm behind him.
"Seungmin," he called.

“Jaehyun’s coming back.”
“Back? You mean like—for a visit?”
“No. Like, back back,” Doyoung said, voice tight. “He’s moving home. For good. He emailed me last night. And he wants to call you.”
Jungwoo blinked. “Me?”
Doyoung’s eyes met his, and suddenly Jungwoo understood. This wasn’t just a casual update. There was something unspoken behind Doyoung’s eyes. Something that looked like fear. Or regret.
“I never told him,” Doyoung admitted quietly. “That it was me replying. He still thinks it’s you.”
Or
Jaehyun and Jungwoo were best friends until Jaehyun had to move to California. They promised to keep in touch through email. For thirteen years, Jaehyun believed the emails from Jungwoo were the thread keeping their friendship alive across an ocean. What he doesn’t know: Jungwoo stopped writing long ago. And the person behind those words—their shared memories, quiet jokes, and confessions—was someone else entirely. Now Jaehyun is back in Korea, and the truth is a ticking clock.

Seungmin feels sorry for them, he really does, but of all the trees, “Why this one? This one’s mine!” He hates that it comes out whiny. He realizes after Minho’s lips quirk into a smile that he’d even stomped his foot like an indignant child, causing the surface of his river to ripple.

'Minho's whole place is so... sterile. I bet the only living thing that can tolerate his personality is his sourdough starter.'
//
'Seungmin's cafe? That thing's practically a glorified greenhouse with an attached oven.'
Or: Minho and Seungmin own cafes on opposite sides of the street. What starts as a simple rivalry quickly devolves into a series of increasingly petty and elaborate schemes to get under each other's skin, despite their long-suffering mutual friends' attempts to get them to make peace.
What neither of them realise is that beneath the jabs and one-uppmanship, they've been unknowingly fighting for the same thing all along: each other's attention.
