Summary
In a horrid twist of fate, the Kamado family was attacked one night, left with one survivor and another on the brink of death. In this universe, it was not Muzan who slaughtered the Kamado family. No, it was something that could have happened to anyone else: a confused bear that stirred from its hibernation far too early and attacked them in its hunger.
That did not, however, mean that Muzan didn't stumble upon the aftermath.
He gave the Kamado siblings a choice. It was the easiest decision they'd ever made.

Robin leans back against the wall, sighing heavily. She drops any pretense of real irritation, her expression adopting a strange mix of fond exasperation and burning curiosity instead. “You tried to break up Vickie’s relationship for me—which I never asked you to do, by the way—and then ended up falling for her boyfriend.”
“Yes.”
“And said boyfriend is Eddie Munson.”
“…Yes.”
In which Robin is distraught over the fact that Vickie’s got a new metalhead boyfriend and Steve takes it upon himself to intervene. Commence Operation Homewrecker — with some unforeseen complications.

Quackity watches Schlatt go down, and thinks, nothing will change.
The bottle falls out of his hand first, and then his fingers seize, clenching around thin air, grappling for something – anything –
And Schlatt chokes, face purpling, perspiration beading at his hairline, and nobody moves forward to help. Later, after the day is over and the country is scarred and everybody’s hearts have shattered just a little more, this will be the moment nobody remembers, the moment nobody focuses on, but Schlatt’s face crumples and takes a knee to the floor and dies, right there, and Quackity watches it happen.
Quackity watches Schlatt die, and he knows then and there that nothing will change.
He’ll still have to hide.
