Summary
Spock’s console erupted in sparks. He was thrown sideways, skull colliding hard against steel. Pain exploded, sharp and dizzying. His vision blurred, dark edged.
The last thing he saw was Jim, leaning over him, eyes wide with terror, hands pressing against his temple, voice breaking on Spock’s name.
Then the light swallowed everything.
Spock opened his eyes.
He was seated at the breakfast table. His tea was untouched, steam curling upward in quiet spirals. Across from him, Jim Kirk slid into the chair with toast and coffee. He leaned on his elbows, grinning with that patented boyish charm of his, as though nothing had happened.
“Morning, Spock,” Jim said. “You look positively radiant today.”
Spock sat frozen at the breakfast table. The words struck him like a blow to the head.
His Vulcan memory admitted no error. He had experienced this before. He had died.Yet here he was.

Summary
The Enterprise drifts through the brilliant shimmer of the Metrin Nebula — ribbons of golden gas curling like ghostly fingers across the stars. The crew had planned a quiet passage, a simple study of energy signatures recorded in Federation archives. What they hadn’t planned on was a fight for survival.
It was supposed to be a regular day on the bridge.
Spock goes very still. Every molecule in his body freezes.
He’d heard her clearly. Too clearly.
Infection.
Unknown incubation speed.
He looked down at his hand. It was trembling.
Then he felt it—a rippling sensation, like something moved beneath the flesh of his lower abdomen. Agony.

Summary
Like passing through a sound and light-proof curtain, the invisible edge of Gale's modified privacy spell gives way as the elf pushes closer, filling Astarion's ears with the tumultuous drumbeat of the wizard's heart. It's not the soothing rhythm of a heart at peace. It's more like the accelerated pace that he's used to hearing when Gale is forced to push his physical limits in battle, a brisk, throbbing pulse of hot blood that leaves Astarion's fangs aching and his mouth watering. But there's also a wet sound: a squishing, squelching noise, like–
Gale's voice catches in a gasp before rising in a strung-out moan, and the elf suddenly realizes what he's overhearing.
OR: A nosy vampire sneaks up to Gale's tent one night to find out why he's being so unusually quiet. And boy, does he get an eyeful.

Summary
All show. All surface. All deception. Tyranny tried to spin even faster, and found the limit of the fleshy body, stumbling hoof over hoof with arms swinging wide and she was going to end up with bruises wasn’t she, and—
Wicander caught her. Her eyes were closed, but she knew it was him. That was the nature of a contract. Of him. Her momentum sent them both stumbling, but he’d nabbed her quite firmly around the waist while her hands found his shoulders and they traveled few staggering steps before they’d found balance.

Summary
Viktor had never really... considered his preferences with people. He was just happy when someone even showed attention to him like this, but perhaps... Jayce plus about fifty pounds was in the right direction.
