Simon is dumbfounded for a second, trying to rationalize that maybe he's hallucinating or something. Then your knee rubs up against his groin as you move into his lap. There's a jolt and then the feeling like she's falling, she grips the chair tight. Then she feels the water-the blood of the ocean begin to absorb her.
She is tempted to just sit there and do nothing, just to wait for her oxygen to run out, but they'd know if she didn't move.
She thinks about ramming into something on the ocean floor over and over until blood overtakes the ship, but they'd probably pull her up before she could drown.
So her next best option is to do what they told her to and hope that she dies trying to get the evidence they want.
