“I’ll come with you.” Harry says it so simply, so matter-of-fact, as though there wasn’t a single reason why he shouldn’t come with him.
Zayn can think of about a hundred and one reasons why he shouldn’t. “Are you having a laugh? Harry, you’re not my boyfriend.”
“So? I can pretend for a few days, especially if it helps get them off your back a bit. Besides, I’ve got nothing better to do.” Harry crosses his ankles and swigs from his glass. “When do we leave?”
“Harry.” Zayn pushes up onto his elbows and stares at him. “What about Luca?”
Harry shrugs. “He won’t care.” He wriggles his toes. “Or maybe we just won’t tell him.”
Or, the one where Harry pretends to be Zayn's boyfriend to prove to his parents that he can hold down a serious relationship with a man. Only, Harry is actually Zayn's best friend's boyfriend.

Zayn snorts. “Shut up.” But Harry can hear him laughing, and yeah, that’s right. He made Zayn laugh. “What are going to do about these phones?”
“We can switch them at our wedding,” Harry suggests.

"Uh... good afternoon to you too? What the hell did I do now?"
"You know exactly what you did!" Zayn snapped, now pacing furiously past shelves of gluten-free snacks. "You recommended him to me! You knew exactly what would happen!"
Liam was howling with laughter now, completely losing it on the other end of the line. "Mate, I swear, I didn’t know Harry was gonna walk around naked! I’m innocent in this! I just thought he’d be good with Zeya. And I’m not to blame if he is attractive a-”
“Attractive?!” Zayn’s voice jumped an octave. “I’m not talking about attractive, Liam. I’m talking about wanting to take him, turn him around, pin him against the kitchen island, and just—"
“Hm-hmm.” A loud, purposeful cough sounded behind him.
