Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Summary
Tommy was alone. And he was bleeding. Profusely. The bullet wound wasn’t anywhere crucial, no organs pierced or anything, but the blood loss would still get him if he stayed here much longer. And sure this is the reason Tubbo told him not to patrol tonight, because Tommy, you’ll rip your stitches or Tommy you got shot yesterday and are in no position to fight bad guys, and sure, maybe Tubbo did end up being right and now he’s paying for not listening to his roommate by bleeding out on a rooftop at least 20 blocks from their tiny apartment, but to be honest, until about thirty seconds ago, Tommy didn’t regret his decision one bit.
But. Now. In the present. He is currently bleeding out on a roof (less important), and being stared down by The Blade, one of the most notorious heroes in the city (more important).
Which shouldn’t be a problem, since you know, The Blade’s a hero. He’s supposed to be helping people. Especially with things like gunshot wounds. Except for the fact that the crime-fighting, bad-guy-stopping that Tommy does is more than a little illegal.
