Summary
After turning thirteen, the Dursley household got even more dangerous for Harry Potter. After a 'punishment' gone wrong, Harry's magic acts in desperation to save his life... sending him nearly exactly one-thousand years into the past as a toddler. There, he is found by Hogwarts founder Salazar Slytherin. The founders take him in, adopting him through magical ritual to be heir to Hogwarts.
One day he will have to return to the future. However, all children deserve a childhood, and the founders agree that Harry should use his second chance and grow up in their time, only to be sent back when he turned thirteen once again.

“Do you wish for a peace treaty?” He had asked again.
When the terms were asked, the first thing said had driven a hole in Harry. “Give me Harry Potter as my consort, and you shall have your treaty.”
It had been magically binding. It had been magically binding, so how could Harry say no? Even if he could hardly accept that this was his fate, how could he say no?
So he allowed it. Allowed himself to be the political bride to end a war.
He tried to be happy. To at least cope. He really had. But how could you be happy with your parent’s killer? How could you be happy when you woke up from your nightmare, only to be greeted by the very same face, sleeping peacefully in your marriage bed.
No, Harry could not love that monster.

Summary
While on the hunt for Horcruxes, a chance encounter with Death Eaters ends with Harry being sent back in time to 1942 and de-aged to five years old. The horcrux inside of him leads Headmaster Dippet to the absurd conclusion that Harry must be Tom Riddle’s son from the future. Dippet believes it is best for model student Tom to take care of Harry until they find a way to send him back to his time.
Tom is not happy with this arrangement at first.

"No need to thank me for not being Hera," Amphitrite dismissed. Percy took a sip of tea. "That is what you meant, isn't it?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. For once, Percy learned from his mistakes and stayed quiet, though he did give her a bashful smile to confirm the sentiment. "Hm. Well, either way, I owe you thanks. Not many children would agree to spy on their father for me."
Percy put the cup down. "I'm not spying on him," he reasoned. Amphitrite scoffed. "I just happen to be in many of the places he is when he's in the mortal world." A long pause followed, and Percy rolled his eyes. "Yes, he was seeing a mortal woman. Her name is Lea."
"You owe me twenty of your mortal dollars, child."
Percy bitterly slapped the paper bill on the table between them.
