Summary
"Akai Kotou," Jian Li says, "means Solitary Red Island. It's the name Rangi gave to her lover's home. It's the name given to Kyoshi Island by the children of Fire."
.
When Aang, Sokka, and Katara arrive at Kyoshi Island, they're only looking for a place to rest for the night. They don't expect to find new allies, soul-deep connections, and a myriad of secrets.
(Sometimes, Zuko forgets that Jian Li isn't his real name. But now it's time to start remembering.)

Summary
After convincing Wan Shi Tong to allow them to explore the Library, the Gaang stumbles into the Spirit's Librarian, who happens to be an awkward, scarred, very-passionate-about-knowledge teenager.
-OR-
After Zuko gets banished, he ends up in Wan Shi Tong's Library. Wan Shi Tong, respectfully, says "fuck it" and claims him - sorry, *adopts. Now, Zuko spends his days in the Library, indulging his inner theatre kid and learning about anything he can. Then, three years later, the Gaang drops in.

Summary
“Huh. Yeah, I think that’s exactly what I was trying to say. You’re pretty good at listening.”
It’s Zuko’s turn to laugh, but his version just sounds bitter. “Trust me, I’m not.”
The amount of self-loathing in those four short syllables is enough to make Sokka wince, but it doesn’t seem like his place to say anything. Zuko did do some pretty fucked up shit, after all. Maybe the self-loathing is warranted.
(after the events of The Phoenix King (S3E18), the two oldest members of the Gaang have a talk)

Summary
Maul tears through his mind like a rancor through flimsi, smashing aside Jesse’s weak protests with terrifying ease. His presence burns. Like someone’s set a white-hot coal on the top of his head and is just letting it burn its way down, deeper and deeper into his brain. It’s a bright, piercing agony that Jesse can’t get away from, no matter how much he struggles against the Mandalorian forcing his arms behind his back.
