Summary
Elek had nursed his ale for the better part of the evening. The Lamplighter wasn't as busy as it usually was, which tonight, was something of a blessing. So, instead of sizing up marks, he had his sights locked on a Dragon that had just walked in and a smile nudged the corner of his mouth.
The lanky elf was dressed in a citizen's outfit - the white complementing his tanned complexion - but Elek could still remember the tattooed snakes that slithered across his body. His throat went dry. Raising the glass to his lips, he took a sip of his ale - without taking his eyes off his target.
Once the elf had reached the bar, Elek pushed the glass away from him and got to his feet, heading straight there.
“Therion. Third night in a week,” he mused as he stopped next to the other man. “That's almost a habit.”

Summary
Davrin had never been insecure. He had never not known who he was or what he desired. But whenever he watched Calandra Mercar confidently stare down monsters or people, cursing at them with that distinct Tevinter lilt - that was moments when he felt surprisingly insecure, but also so incredibly sure of his desires. She was a whirlwind of power and confidence and that little smirk she usually gave him drove him crazy.

Summary
Naravia - Rook - on the other hand, was sitting by the table together with Emmrich and Lace. The gentlemanly necromancer said something that caused the two dwarves to laugh heartily.
Lucanis could feel the jealousy stir in his chest. Not because he wanted it to, but because he didn't know how to tell her how he truly felt. How she was the one bright light he had. How he dreamt of running his fingers through her long, blonde hair, to feel her skin against his. How he used to trace every freckle across her face when she was talking to him. How he wondered how far they went.
Rook. Is. Ours.

Summary
He remembered one night, after having commented on a wyvern tooth dagger he had found by Lucanis’ bed, that the assassin had mentioned his love of the animal. As well as the, rather sweet, anecdote that he'd asked his grandmother for one as a pet.

Summary
Emmrich studied her as she flittered back and forth in the salon, checking and re-checking everything. They had settled down in a mansion in Nevarra not long after the defeat of the Evanuris and they had fallen into a comfortable life. But today was everything but.
Lusia and Rafe were coming to visit for the first time, and Esha had been a nervous wreck all morning. He knew she loved her children, but he also knew that there were a few things that worried her. Manfred being one of them.
Or, not Manfred per se. More how Rafe would react to him. And he wouldn't deny that the thought had popped up in his head as well. Their skeleton son was doing wonderful with his studies and he was advancing adequately, his vocabulary improving every day.

Summary
“You’ve turned fifty pages in the last five minutes,” the spawn mused, “but you haven't looked at the book once. I suspect there's something else stealing your attention. Or rather, someone else.”
Gale felt the blush spread and he closed the book with a huff. “I’m just making sure his spells don't backfire. We do not need anyone turned into a sheep.”
Astarion chuckled. It had been a running joke at camp that they risked being polymorphed since Trystan accidentally transformed himself during a fight. The dangers of wild magic.

Summary
Lucanis soon approached carrying two cups, smiling wryly as he put one in front of Alexius. “Here it is,” he noted as he took his seat. “Andoral's Breath.”
Alexius brought the cup to his face, inhaling the aroma of the beverage he had been presented with. It did smell heavenly. He glanced at Lucanis as he took a sip, noticing that the assassin hadn't touched his cup and was instead watching him intently.
The first touch of coffee on his tongue was indeed bitter, but the aftertaste was sweet and to be fair, it made him a little confused. The coffee was delicious, but it was nothing he had ever tasted before.
“You don't like it?” Lucanis asked, a gentle frown on his brow.
Alexius looked at him, a little surprised at the question. “I do. Why do you ask?”
The frown disappeared as Lucanis arched an eyebrow, a low chuckle tumbling across his lips. “I have never seen so many emotions surface for a cup of coffee. Not even Café Pietra's.”

Summary
He stopped next to him. Leaning against the banister, he allowed himself to relax a little - despite Spite hissing in his ear. In a way, he couldn't blame him. Alexius was everything Spite hated; a Tevinter magister.
“I'm sorry,” he offered hesitantly. “It should never have been a trade.”
Daring a glance at the other man, he could see Alexius' jaw tighten. His eyes narrowed as a deep sigh escaped him. For a moment it looked almost as if he deflated.
Or Lucanis tries to comfort someone and it turns into flirting and he realizes he's out of his depth.

Summary
“Darling?” Emmrich tried to bring her attention to him, but she barely seemed to hear him. “Esha? Are you alright?”
“...mm.” she hummed, evidently not hearing what he asked her.
He reached out, gently taking one of her hands in his. They action caused her to jump in surprise, looking at him bewildered until it appeared to dawn on her who he was.
“Please, darling,” he whispered softly, “what is wrong?”
“Argh, come on, mom. Let's go.” Taash grumbled and began to carefully shove Esha forward.

Summary
The emptiness inside him was raw, jagged and pulled at the strings of his heart. Every waking moment he spent without her left a dread in his stomach, somewhere far past where his soul would be. It made it hard to breathe. To think. And that made everything so much worse.

Summary
A sigh. A nervous rub of his hands. “Could you perhaps tell me more of your exploits as a Lord?”
A soft laugh escapes her and she closes her book, placing it on the table. “Of course,” she says and scoots closer. “What do you wanna hear?”
He thinks for a moment. “Well,” glancing at her he smiles wryly, “you never did finish that one about the rival pirate and the ruby.”
