Summary
Oscar takes a long sip before turning to Max, “Can I ask you something?”
Max arches an eyebrow, slightly taken aback. Oscar, despite being a man of few words, usually just speaks his mind without remorse.
“Fire away,” is all Max says, doesn’t even bother to wonder where this conversation could be heading next. Oscar peels his eyes off him for a moment, goes off to stare at the distance, past Daniel, before he looks at Max once more. The words that come out of his mouth land like bombs in an active war zone.
“Do you happen to know Charles Leclerc?”
Or: Max meets Charles one spring morning. It sends the alpha into mayhem.

“Me? Well I’m very flattered.” Charles beams at the reporter, his eyes sparkling in the afternoon sun.
“But if you had to pick someone…” the reporter gently prompts.
Charles hums. “Well since you asked, I will say Max Verstappen.”
