There’s a grunt. One, two, three, quick and panicked, and suddenly a large, fluffy mass is leaning into Tommy’s space.
Still curled up in pain, Tommy almost misses it—almost misses the dilation of Techno’s pupils, almost misses the constant chuff, chuff, chuff, and snort, snort, snort, as Techno’s head dips down to look at him. But Tommy’s been looking for it all week, so, as if magnetized, Tommy still lifts his pained head upward.

“I’m not crazy, " he gritted out as he glared into the snow that tumbled before the windows like they were constantly shaken in a slow glob.
“Why’d he go after you?” Ranboo whispered as they looked out the same window next to him. They were also trapped here with him, Tubbo, Technoblade and Phil, but half of those people live here full-time, and Ranboo has a temporary home, so it hardly counts.
“Why does he do half the things he does? To torture me!” he snapped briefly, looking towards Ranboo; they quickly looked away towards Technoblade, sitting on a nearby chair, reading a book.
Or: Bench Trio are stuck in Techno’s/Philza's cabin because of a blizzard, and Tommy swears Dream’s there

Summary
Tommy stares, eyes wide and watering from the intense pressure in his chest.
“Greetings, your majesties. As the hand to the throne, I pass on my king's gratitude. The SMP welcomes you.” Dream gives the normal platitudes, but Tommy still stares in awe. He’s glad his mask hides his utter shock.
Because he knows these people. It’s been so long- impossibly long- but he used to know them.
Once upon a time, before the Greater SMP, the masks, immortality, Dream- Tommy was just a kid who thought he could always be free.
And he knew those men, not yet leaders of an empire, by different names. The Angel of Death, The Siren, and The Blood God. Lord Zephyrus, Admin Icarus, and General Protesilaus.
Technoblade, Wilbur, and Philza.But that was over three hundred years ago.

Or, Dream is an immortal who controls everything in The Greater SMP and has made Tommy his unwilling right-hand man. The Antarctic Empire's visit shouldn’t mean much besides more guests to appease- except Tommy recognizes the visitors. Which should be impossible, since he met them hundreds of years ago and they should be, y'know, dead.
