Summary
At first, he resented the lamb. Hated them even. The time started to tick by. A week, a month, nearly a year. Then, he realized how loved the lamb was by everyone. How they went out of their way to care for all of them. It wasn't something he would have done, but the lamb was respected. It was hard to hate that lamb.
It was another day of wandering around the property. Helping with the farming. Taking care of the fresh hatchlings. Even going as far as to keep praying for the lamb’s safe return at the statue. ‘Please let the lamb come back safe from their crusade.’
All three of his eyes rolled. Sure, he cared for his new leader, but there was something wrong with him. He felt things for the lamb. Things he hadn’t felt in centuries.
