“What?” Marston’s hoarse voice came from within his tent.
“Come with me,” Arthur said. “We’re going huntin’.”
Marston looked at him with a big frown. Ugly bastard he was, and the scars running down his cheek all the way to his chin didn’t help him one bit. “I thought Charles was out hunting.”

His mother had berated him many times before for not learning the prayers properly, but she didn’t understand how hard it was. The words felt wrong in his mouth. How could he pray when he didn't know what the prayers meant?
