Summary
‘ “I bet,” Tobio growled, “that you can’t even grant wishes at all.”
Hinata smiled, but his expression was terrifying. His eyes were wide and bright, too bright, burning gold. “Is that a challenge?” the little god asked.
Tobio smiled back, and his eyebrows drew down to form a frightening grin of his own. “Yeah. It is.”
The sun god’s hand blurred out, bending him forward, warm fingers pressed to the back of Tobio’s neck.
“Then tell me your wish,” Hinata said in his ear, his breath hot as his lips brushed over Tobio’s skin.’
--
Once a year, all the villages that follow the way of the sun offer up one of their own to be taken to the sun god's divine temple. Kageyama Tobio, an orphan and loner, never wanted to be chosen—and until the sun god appeared, no one ever wanted to choose him, either. All Tobio wants is to find a place he fits in. What he actually gets is another story entirely.

Summary
The thing is, with Hinata, Kageyama doesn't really need a girlfriend. They see movies together, they go out to eat together; they rock-paper-scissors for the bill, although Hinata's pretty transparent (he almost always chooses rock), so sometimes Kageyama will let him win on purpose. Who needs girls when you have someone like that?

Summary
They’re patching up now at least, had been for the past few months to fill in the little cracks and gaps, forging the weakened bridge between them in order for them to become closer again. They’ve done it once, they can do it again.
...
Hinata and Kageyama had long been dating. It just takes a little push for them to actually become aware of it.
