“Shut up,” Stiles stated with no heat. He looked up at Derek. “When are you going to get it that I like taking care of you too?”
Derek weakly shook his head. “I’m not good enough, Stiles.”
Stiles’ features sunk. “Don’t I get to decide that?” He stood, dropping the towel he had been using to help move the blanket. “Just… get in bed, Derek. We can talk later.”
Derek remembered touching Stiles’ wrist. “I should have died that night we met.”
“Not when I have anything to do with it,” Stiles replied.

Summary
Talia Hale survives the Hale Fire, along with Laura, Derek, Peter, and Cora. It's been roughly ten years since the events of that night, and to say that it left scars would be an understatement. Desperate to bring her Pack back to its old strength, Talia will not stop pushing her children and brother to settle down and have kids of their own. For this year's Cold Moon, Peter finally brings someone home.
Stiles is not at all what Talia was expecting. He's far too young for Peter, he's human, and worst of all a man. (No biological children to carry on the Pack). He also doesn't give a shit what Talia says about him. His mere presence is enough to have her melting down, and it's bad for the simmering tension between her and the rest of the Pack. Unfortunately, everyone else likes him.
Derek might like him more than the rest. A little too much. Aw hell, he has a crush on his uncle's boyfriend. But maybe that's okay, because there is something off about Peter and Stiles that Derek just can't quite put his finger on.
Or: Five times Peter brought Stiles to a Full Moon Run to mess with Talia + One time Derek did brought Stiles to a Full Moon Run for real.

Summary
“Stiles.” Derek’s voice is short, thick around something he’s chewing down. He lands silently on the floor and straightens. “Pull up trail cam twelve. Now.”
Stiles blinks once, deliberately slow, then drags a hand in a wide, unnecessary arc at the desk.
“Hi. Manners, ever heard of them?” He doesn’t wait for an answer. “Great. I’m busy. See this?” He taps the monitor. “It’s work. You want trail cam twelve, you can use these incredible tools called hands.” He flaps his own at the keyboard like a flightless bird. “Keyboard’s right there, big guy. Space bar, enter key, whole world at your fingertips. Go wild. Type your little heart out. I’ll be over here not being your personal IT guy.” He swivels back half an inch, then swivels forward again to squint at Derek’s face.
Derek’s eyes narrow as he steps closer, posture tight. “Do it.”
“No.”
Or: Stiles flips the tables, takes control, and teaches Derek how good it feels to follow.
