Summary
After using his army of the dead to defeat Wen Ruohan, Wei Wuxian was deemed a threat by the rest of the clans. In order to prevent another war, a treaty was drafted requiring Wei Wuxian to provide his first born child.
Three years later, no such child has been provided and noted virgin and steward of the people Lan Wangji is chosen to investigate the matter.
