Summary
“Messy, why—?” Kong initially inquired but was interrupted by Godzilla opening his mouth and dropping the gift directly onto his lap. Licking subtly around his maw to taste the treat offered, he found it passable for that aspect and was content on the appearance of it (a starfish, Mothra later informed him it was called) was sufficient.
Kong stared at the starfish. He stared at Kong. Suko stared at the starfish too, hoping Kong would share the delicacy curling up on itself in a pathetic attempt of survival.

Exploring new companionships is tough and frightening, but it’s what Godzilla intends on doing with Kong. Mostly, Kong’s dragged along for the ride but he isn’t upset by it.
