Summary
“So, what is this? One last pity fuck before you blow out my brains?” Kaz asks, twirling his kiseru in his hands. They are both naked except for Ocelot's gloves, lounging on the large sofa in the middle of his living room, Ocelot straddling him lazily.
“You, better than most, should know that I never do things out of pity.” Ocelot blows out a thin stream of smoke from his cigarillo. It curls through the air, tendrils enveloping them both like a shadow of his earlier hands around Kaz' throat. “A touch of self-indulgence, perhaps.”
*Fate finally catches up with Kazuhira Miller one cold February night in 2005. Except, the end isn't quite the end.

Summary
“Do you truly think I don’t have any means of gaining intel when I need it?” Ocelot sounds almost insulted. Kaz snorts in response, deliberately ignoring the implication that he had expended substantial effort to find him.
“Can’t escape you even by dying,” he says instead.
“Not as long as there’s still work to do,” Ocelot agrees.
*Kaz is injured and left to die by himself in the desert. Except, Ocelot won't let him, not even when the deal they've been striking continues to go wrong.

M’Baku frowns. He has seen Namor’s incredible capability for healing before, putting anything he has ever witnessed to shame. This isn’t what should be happening. He shouldn’t keep bleeding like this, shouldn’t keep getting weaker by the second.
Unless…
M’Baku picks up the discarded dagger. He notes distantly that it is made entirely out of raw vibranium, the only reason why it was able to pierce Namor’s skin in the first place. Turning it in his hands, he sniffs it.
Poison.
*Not everyone is happy with the tenuous peace between Wakanda and Talokan. Namor manages to stop an assassination attempt aimed at M'Baku, but is grievously injured in the process. After his recovery, the two rulers work together amidst the the attraction they have developed for each other.

Summary
“You’re Scoia’tael?” the Wolf asks. No doubt he recognises Iorveth from the various posters that the dh’oine have put out with what they consider a good depiction of his likeness. Iorveth finds himself inclined to disagree, but the red cloth and missing eye are a sure giveaway either way, even if someone has never seen him in person.
“Iorveth,” he says, for completeness’ sake. It isn’t like the witcher is in any state to run into the next town to denounce him.
“Eskel.” The witcher inclines his head in a polite nod. “Pleased to make your acquaintance, Iorveth.”
Iorveth barks out a laugh at the words, handing him a mug of tea to drink. “It has been a long time indeed since someone was pleased to meet me."
*Iorveth finds a witcher on the brink of death in the forest and decides to nurse him back to health.
