Summary
Fumikage is a wandering mage, traveling one night when suddenly caught in a downpour. He seeks shelter in a cave opening at the side of the mountain he is trying to get over, only to fall sick from the cold. Unknowingly, this is no normal cave in just any mountain; it's the castle of the dragon king, Katsuki. Who, against his better judgment, takes the poor thing in and tends to him until he's better.
However, everything that happens after is more than Fumikage, or Katsuki, could have ever expected. A simple act of kindness sparks the experience of a lifetime, from learning a dark truth about the dragon king to overcoming pain together.
