Summary
After leaving her father to face The Eye in one final battle, Rosalyn finds herself in the last place the British syndicate would think to look, Yokohama. After all, who would be mad enough to return to the city they fled from years before. But Rosalyn’s father doesn’t leave her with no direction. Fitted with a new identity Rosalyn Teagen is pointed to the Armed Detective Agency. An organization run by individuals with special abilities not too unlike her own.
Her struggles don’t end though. Yokohama is packed full of crime, manipulation, and a just as powerful Port Mafia running its underbelly. To top it off her new coworkers are just as complex, and even more insane. Between all the arsonists, art thieves, kidnappers, murders, and corrupted insurance representatives, a new enemy to the city is gaining power. An enemy that knows more about Rosalyn’s past than even she does.
Joining the agency’s payroll is one thing but actually helping solve these cases is not what this former accountant was signing up for.
