Summary
The peoples of these lands share many tales, though they are all unique in their tellings. The tales tell of a lady of light who bound her light to the dark lord to hold him fast. The sun may rise, the sun may set, but ever does the lady of light hold the dark lord.
OR—Galadriel goes to stop the Dark Lord Sauron from enacting his plan to create the One Ring. But something goes wrong and they wake 4,000 years later, well into the Third Age, awoken by none other than Gandalf and four familiar Hobbits and one handsome ranger. The road is ever winding, but where does this one lead?

Summary
Picks up after The Rings of Power Episode 5 and diverges from show canon in several ways. Written because a 20 second scene convinced me that these two needed a lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers story (aka Adar is Celeborn).

“I can still recall the songs we sang under the newborn stars in the forests of Beleriand. And the sound of laughter in a glade, bright and clear under the gleaming sunlight. Before I was taken, twisted and broken. Believe me, Alatáriel.” His voice was low, and grave, forming her Elvish name with unexpected elegance. He finally met her eyes, and her breath caught at the depth of the pain she saw in them. “There are no two beings in all of Arda who want to see Sauron defeated more than you and I. Why can we not ally together in this matter? I can help you.”
She felt the pull to accept his words, to acknowledge the ruinous bond of treachery that brought them together, but in these new, dark days trust did not come so easily. “Is that why you’ve brought an army of orcs into Elven lands? To help me?”
