Summary
Severus had always known that he would die in a painful, most horrifying way ever since back when he was almost beaten to death by his father, then mauled by a werewolf, then thrashed around by a maniac overlord. His miserable, luckless life only seemed to lead to that one day when he would be struck down by a bloody snake, of all things.
Bleeding out in front of Harry Potter was just the last humiliation Lady Destiny had in store for him.
Suddenly staring into Potter senior’s eyes again while being levicorpused was just the icing on the cake.- Language:

Summary
“All right, Chris?” Trevor said quietly, keeping going with the circles. Chris’s hands were soft in his, a little warmer now than they had been before.
It took a second for Chris to register that Trevor was speaking to him. He blinked his eyes open, slowly, like a cat waking up from a long nap. “All right,” he said at last, the softest Trevor had ever heard him talk. His eyes had gone vague, staring at their interlocked hands. There was a half-sliver of a fond smile on his face.
It was then, and only then, that Trevor finally realized: he recognized that look and that tone of voice and that smile.
He didn’t really have the luxury of fully processing the concept that he had just (accidentally) (platonically) dommed his boss, ex-flatmate, and current crush object effectively enough that Chris was visibly out of it from having his wrists tied. From the looks of it, you’d think hardly anyone ever touched Chris kindly, or told him that he was doing a good job—
Oh. Yeah. Christ. That made sense, then.

“You’re something I want, Wraith,” he says, his tone all business like. “And I don’t stop until I have what I want.”
“That could have sounded romantic.”
“It’s a fact.”
She hums and squeezes his hand.

Summary
Aleksander had waited centuries to meet the sun summoner. When he was young, the idea of a sun summoner had captured him instantly. They would be someone like him, who would understand what it was to be different, even from other Grisha. He would no longer have to be alone with only his mother for company; he would no longer have to hide. As he got older, his expectations for a sun summoner changed. He thought of them as an ally and equal, to stand by him in his fight to protect Grisha. Someone who, like him, would not age, would remain with him long after everything around them was dust and memory. He knew they would be young when he found them, but he would guide them and train them and together they would accomplish miracles. And now the day had finally arrived. The sun summoner stood before him:
Malyen Oretsev
____________Or that story where Mal is mistaken for the sun summoner, rolls with it to protect Alina, Alina hides in bushes and around corners summoning for Mal to keep the charade going, the Dorkling catches feelings, and Ravka is not prepared for these disaster twins
