Ed's visit to Oswald after Martin's "murder" goes a little differently. Unfortunately, they're both in absolutely terrible states of being, hygiene and mental health-wise. Neither of them can bring themselves to mind it very much, though.

A lot of things could change in ten years, especially so when one has spent those ten years in Arkham asylum. The most notable of the changes Ed had undergone, or at least the most visually noticeable, was his hair, which now fell to his shoulders in coarse waves.

Well, that answered that. Oswald didn't see them as lovers, "a hug it is." He agreed, pressing a button on the blade, and the blade popped out, he couldn't back down... he needed Oswald close to him to do this...
Ed has now queries about a hug, not even a kiss or a hint of disappointment... he really doesn't love him...
The two moved closer to each other, and wrapped an around the other, and the blade hand followed, and tickled the others back. Oswald teared up, tightening his grip on Ed, the point of the blade gentle on Ed's blazer, and Ed frowned, furiously blinking, the blade held up ready to strike.
'No one can have him...'Or;
Edward Nygma and Oswald Cobblepot love each other so much, they can't let anyone else be with the other...
