In his ventures toward carving a name for himself, Jayce had made some pretty major oversights. Chief among them: accidentally agreeing to funding from a Chem-baron. Not just any Chem-baron, either. Overachiever that he was, Jayce had went and managed to loop himself into a contract with possibly the most terrifying Chem-baron of all time. The one pulling the strings from the shadows, the puppet master who held the key to damn near everyone's destruction in his hand like a god.
The mastermind behind the network of mutiny and mutilations that soaked the streets of Zaun ever-crimson. A name that carried weight in the world—enough to change the worth of another name, to rewrite it, or erase it entirely.
Hold my hand as I twist the knife and dig it in while it all falls apart around us, friends.

Summary
Bruce Wayne is dead. Publicly, he died tragically in a horrible accident across the globe at a relief camp doing some type of charity work or another. Horrible stuff. Tragic, really. Poor Brucie, died trying to help out just like he always did. In reality, Batman died in what would end up being his final mission in his useless war on crime. He died alone in a warehouse explosion miles away from his family and friends because he decided that he had to do it alone.
OR
Bruce Wayne's funeral from Jason's POV. He has a hard time coping with death.

Dick blinked a moment before answering, “Ah yeah. Of course.” He couldn’t help but gently put his other hand over the one holding his own.
He doesn’t want him to let go. He wants to talk to him more. Want’s to tell him everything. But he knows it would be selfish do that. Bruce is happy now and he can deal with everything else. He can deal with all of the missions, all of the blame, all of the other people that Bruce left. He could do that for him.

Hell, you could probably do it in five,” Jason laughs, but it’s ugly. Too sharp. Too aggressive. He looks away from his hands now, away from the case. He looks at Bruce, taking in the sight of his father.
Bruce doesn’t look the way he did before Jason died. There’s grey at his temples already, even though he’s barely pushing thirty five. If he keeps living the way he does, he’ll have a full head of silver before fifty. Jason wonders if he’ll dye it, if Brucie Wayne will be half as alluring with such bold evidence of stress

He’d been looking at it all wrong: it was not that Jayce had come to taunt him with the signs of his latest conquest, that he wanted Viktor to know he was decidedly not his—it was that Jayce had had a conquest and had ditched it (ditched her) to come crawling back to Viktor, pathetically begging at his door for his nemesis’ scathing words and derogatory comments, because even touches filled with contempt and deprecating comments did it better for him than the very best that Piltover had to offer.
And fuck if that didn’t substitute the anger in Viktor’s veins with a different kind of heat.

Fike grabs Jake’s face and tilts it so they’re looking at each other eye-to-eye. “Listen here, Jakey. Coupla ground rules for ya; You bite, you kick, you scratch, you do anything even slightly stupid, we take it out on your kid here.”
Jake’s eyes widened slightly, gaze flickering over to Lo’ak.
He’s met with an expression of absolute despair.
“Dad, don’t do it,” Lo’ak whispers. “It’s ok, I can deal with it.”
Jake’s heart twists.
Fike grins, seeing the agony in Jake’s eyes. “Dunno if you’re gonna get a father’s day card if you lose two sons, Sully.”
Jake’s jaw clenches, but he nods, barely visible.
It’s a defeat that makes a hole of shame burn into Jake’s chest.
