Unless something forces him to slow down his Superstar Detecting briefly, then all bets are off. But, some things are just destiny and no amount of mishap, bad decisions or distasteful anatomical differences can stop true love.
(This is slow-burn tentacle porn! I will make it VERY CLEAR in the fore-notes when tentacles are going to show up, so if you're just in it for the comedy, characterization, or romance, you could just skip from chapter 4 straight to 9. I worked really hard on this, despite it being so niche the audience might not even exist. *sobs*)
